8 Ounce Candle

40+ Hours of Burn Time

  • Safe Burning Tips

Light the wooden wick and allow the top surface of the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar before extinguishing the flame.

This may take 2-4 hours after lighting.

A full pool of melted wax will keep your candle from tunneling, or leaving wax on the sides of the jar.

Keep your burning candle in sight and away from drafts. Always place it on a flat, heat resistant surface when lit. Keep the candle away from children, pets, materials that can catch fire, and other heat sources.

Never move your candle while it is burning or still hot. Only move it once the flame is extinguished and the wax has cooled. Pouring or removing liquid wax from the vessel may cause the wick to extinguish and affect the future burn quality of the candle.

Wooden wicks burn much cleaner, and while they don’t get the carbon build-up that needs to be trimmed off of cotton wicks, they will develop a slight amount of ash at the tip of the wick. The ash can be easily broken off when cool, before relighting, or cut using a wick trimmer.

Sometimes, if there is too much ash build-up, you will notice the flame getting smaller, but once you remove it, the flame comes right back to life. Just be careful not to leave any debris in your candle and follow all of the standard candle burning safety guidelines.

When there is approximately 1/4 inch of wax remaining at the bottom of the jar. Extinguish the wick and recycle the jar according to your local recycling center instructions.
